Cancelling the Vesting of Portion of a Reserve in the Wairau River Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of December, 1942.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve for river-protection purposes and is vested in the Wairau River Board:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Wairau River Board has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Wairau River Board of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being part of Section 63, Omaka Registration District, situated in Block XIV, Cloudy Bay Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3200H, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Vesting a Reserve in the Grey Hospital Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of December, 1942.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for hospital purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Grey Hospital Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Grey Hospital Board, in trust, for hospital purposes.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Westland Land District containing by admeasurement 3 roods, more or less, being Sections 337, 339, 341, Town of Greymouth (formerly part Reserve 49), situated in the Borough of Greymouth. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/8/4B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Moura Native Burial-ground Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of December, 1942.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was by Warrant published in Gazette of the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, permanently reserved for a Native burial-ground: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in a special Board as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously amended or revoked under the said Act), in the undermentioned persons, namely,- Huriwaka Pene, Arawhiti Mehaka, Wharetini Hakopa, Timi Maaka, and Whainoa Raureti, who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Moura Native Burial-ground Board (hereinafter referred to as "the Board"), with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:-
- The Board shall meet for the transaction of business at two o'clock p.m. on the first Saturday in the months of February, May, August, and November in each year, at Matata, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Saturday, the sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
- The members of the Board shall at their first meeting elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.
- Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman, provided that two days' notice of any such meeting is given to each member specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.
- Any three members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.
- If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose one of their number to be Chairman of such meeting.
- If by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise the seat of any member shall be or become vacant, or if any member absents himself without reasonable cause from three consecutive meetings of the Board, the Governor-General shall have power to appoint any other person to be a member of the Board in his stead.
- All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
- The Board is hereby empowered to do all things which may be requisite for the proper and beneficial management and administration of the said reserve.
- Nothing herein contained shall authorize further burials being made within the boundaries of the said reserve.

Revoking the Reservation for Recreation Purposes over Part of a Reserve in Town of Waitara West, Taranaki Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of December, 1942.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be cancelled was published in the Gazette of the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two:
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of subsection two of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the nineteenth and the twenty-second days of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, approved the proposed revocation as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Waitara Borough, Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 15 perches, more or less, being Sections 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and part Sections 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 9, Block XCI, Town of Waitara West. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 30/228/84A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
