to be Registrar of Marriages for the District of Dunedin for the purposes of the Marriage Act, 1908, Registrar of Births and Deaths for the District of Dunedin for the purposes of the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, and Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Dunedin for the purposes of the Maori Births and Deaths Registration Regulations 1935, on and from the 30th day of September, 1942.

National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Declaration of Essential Industry (No. 118).
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby declare the pasteurization, bottling, and distribution of milk to be an essential industry for the purposes of those regulations.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby declare the operations of all workers coming within the scope of the New Zealand Motor Mechanics’ award to be an essential industry for the purposes of those regulations.
