His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to confirm the following promotions and relinquishments of temporary rank of officers on active service with the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force overseas, vide List No. 70:-

CORRIGENDA.
With reference to U.K. Orders, Serial No. 1, dated 1st August, 1940, para. 2, the date of the promotion of Lieutenant-Colonel (then Major) J. M. Twhigg, D.S.O., N.Z. Medical Corps, to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel (temp.), is 26th May, 1940, and not 26th June, 1940.
With reference to List No. 17, dated 10th February, 1941, para. 6, the date of appointment to an honorary commission as 2nd Lieutenant in the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force of J. D. Goffin, is 9th February, 1941.
