SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Tauranga County, situated in Blocks I
and V, Maketu Survey District, containing by admeasurement
a total of 1,192 acres and 7 perches, more or less, being
Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, and 14, Block I, and part of
Section 28, Block V, Maketu Survey District, part of Otawa
No. 2 Block, and parts of Waitaha or Otawa No. 1B 1,
No. 1B 2, and No. 1B 3 Blocks. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/9A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plans S.O. 30028, S.O. 30418, S.O. 4700A.)
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 25th day of August, 1942.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Birkenhead Borough Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act) in the Birkenhead Borough Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:-

The period for which the control of the reserve is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.

The said Council shall control the said reserve in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.
SCHEDULE.
BIRKENHEAD SCENIC RESERVE.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 14 acres 0 roods 19·5 perches, more or less, being portion of Allotment 149, Parish of Takapuna, and being all the land on deposited plan No. 14492, Auckland Registry.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 25th day of August, 1942.
