Authorizing the Laying-off of an Extension to Salisbury Street,
in the City of Auckland, of a Width less than 66 ft. but not
less than 40 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
August, 1942.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Auckland City
Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street
described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-
six feet, but not less than forty feet, subject to the condition
that no building or part of a building shall at any time be
erected on part Allotments 5 and 6, Section 8, Suburbs of
Auckland, and being the land comprised and described in
Certificate of Title, Volume 578, folio 10, Auckland Registry,
fronting the said proposed street within a distance of forty
feet from the centre-line of such street.
SCHEDULE.
That proposed street in the North Auckland Land District,
City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 roods
3 perches, more or less, being part Allotments 5 and 6,
Section 8, part Lot 4, D.P. 19885, being part Allotment 5,
Section 8, and part Lot 11, D.P. 1877, being part Allotment 6,
Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113952,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Portion of Easter Crescent, in the City of Dunedin, exempted
from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act,
1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of
August, 1942.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the twenty-
second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-
two, viz. :
"That the Dunedin City Council, being the local
authority having control of the streets in the City of
Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of
section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public
Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the eastern side of the
portion of Easter Crescent adjoining subdivision of
Lots 22, 23, and part 5, Block II, D.P. 990, Township of
Kew, such land being comprised and described in
Certificates of Title, 305/178 and 285/11";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern
side of the portion of Easter Crescent (described in the
Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from
the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
The eastern side of all that portion of street in the Otago
Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Easter Crescent,
fronting Lots 22 and 23 and part Lot 5, Block II, D.P. 990,
Township of Kew, being parts Section 45, Block VII, Town
District, and part Section 116a, Block VII, Town District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 114791, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

of Ohaeawai, Farmer, by John William Reginald Baldwin,
formerly of Ohaeawai, Farmer, of his Rights, Powers, and
Privileges under an Order in Council dated the 12th June,
1936.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in
anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the assignment
to Donald William Hudspith, of Ohaeawai, Farmer, by John
William Reginald Baldwin, formerly of Ohaeawai, Farmer,
of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council
dated the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No.
40 of the eighteenth day of the same month at page 1160,
authorizing the said John William Reginald Baldwin, of
Ohaeawai, Farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating
electricity.

Licensing A. S. Andrewes and Sons to use and occupy a Part
of the Foreshore at Rawene, Hokianga Harbour, as a Site
for a Store.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
August, 1942.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and
permit Messrs. Alfred Andrewes, George Andrewes, Frank
Andrewes, and Arthur Edmund Andrewes, trading under the
style or title of “A. S. Andrewes and Sons,” of Opononi
(hereinafter called “the licensees,” which term shall include
their executors, administrators, and assigns, unless the
context requires a different construction), to use and occupy
a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at
Rawene, Hokianga Harbour, marked as site No. 4 as shown
on approved plans marked M.D. 4288 and 4293, and deposited
in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the
purpose of maintaining thereon a store as shown on the said
plans, such license to be held and enjoyed by the licensees
upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
(1) This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regu-
lations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the
10th day of August, 1942.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be one pound
(£1), and the annual sum so payable, five pounds (£5).

County Council.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a reserve for a public cemetery and is vested
in the Mangonui County Council:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the
said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled,
and the Mangonui County Council has duly consented to
such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of
