Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Langdale Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of August, 1942.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Clarence Herbert Bannister,
George Sterling Buckley,
Hector James Carson,
Edward Douglas Carman,
James Douglas,
Robert George Forman, and
Charles Stewart Hay
to be the Langdale Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Langdale Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
LANGDALE DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 27 acres 3 roods 13 perches, more or less, being Sections 11, 15, 16, 17, part 12, and a closed road, Town of Langdale, situated in Block III, Rewa Survey District: Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 2100 links; towards the south-east by Langdale Road, 793·9 links and 145·67 links; and towards the south-west and north-west generally by Section 3, Langdale Settlement, 1372·9 links, 368·2 links, 432·1 links, and 1582 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/119, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of August, 1942.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Kihikihi Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Kihikihi Domain Board.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of August, 1942.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion of the Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve Extension, as described in the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve Extension, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the County of Mangonui, situated in Block VII, Opoe Survey District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 3 roods 22 perches, more or less, being part of Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve Extension, and being known now as Section 12, Block VII, Opoe Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1747E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Appointing Additional Member to Papatowai Scenic Board.

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in the Gazette of the fourteenth day of that month, the control of certain scenic reserves in the Otago Land District was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Warrant constituted a special Board by the name of the Papatowai Scenic Board, in pursuance of section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:
And whereas it is considered desirable that the membership of the said Board should be increased:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby appoint
Archibald McArthur
to be an additional member of the Papatowai Scenic Board hereinbefore referred to as from the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 12th day of August, 1942.
