WELLINGTON, THURSDAY, AUGUST 13, 1942.

Additional Land at Mercer taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land near Mercer in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6919, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of August, 1942.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kawakawa-Grahamtown Railway to take further land at Otiria in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway: A

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 8-75 perches. Part of Motatau Block 4B No. 4. Situated in Block XV, Kawakawa Survey District, Bay of Islands County. (S.O. 32565.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6920, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of August, 1942.

Land taken for a Public School in Block VII, Kawhia North Survey District, Kawhia County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 23-1 perches. Being part Pirongia West No. 1, Section 2F 1B 2B. Situated in Block VII, Kawhia North Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 31622.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114403, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of August, 1942.
