Crown Land set apart as Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Inangahua County, containing by admeasurement 401 acres, more or less, being Section 24, Block II, Reefton Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 113/19, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of July, 1942.

Notifying the proposed Exchange of State Forest in the Auckland Conservancy for other Land.

WHEREAS by section four of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor-General, whenever he deems it expedient in the public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of land comprised in a State forest which is subject to the provisions of the Forests Act, 1921-22, in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any such exchange to pay or receive any sum by way of equality of exchange:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to exchange the area of State forest described in the First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the owner of the land described in the Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange and has agreed to accept from the Crown a sum of money by way of equality of exchange;
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, doth hereby declare it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the area of State forest described in the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the land described in the Second Schedule upon payment by the Crown of the sum of money hereinbefore referred to by way of equality of exchange.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10-86 perches, more or less, being part of Taraipe 1p Block, situated in Kaikohe Town District, Block XV, Omapiere Survey District, and being part of the land contained in Certificate of Title, 743/30. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 5/30, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan 32319.)

SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 1 rood 17-8 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 30626, part of Taraipe 1q Block, situated in Kaikohe Town District, Block XV, Omapiere Survey District, and being part of the land contained in Certificate of Title, 618/215. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 5/30, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 21st day of July, 1942.

Land in the Canterbury Land District acquired for a Permanent State Forest.

Wellington, 24th July, 1942.
NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act, 1921-22, for the purposes of a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Waipara County, containing 1 acre 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section 35163, situated in Block IV, Waikari Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Reserve 1679, 804-3 links, and towards the south-east and south-west by the other part of Rural Section 35163, 538-6 links and 526-1 links respectively: be the aforesaid measurements more or less. As the same is delineated on plan No. 128/22, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered green. (Certificate of Title, 475/81.)
