Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Borough of Timaru, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1942.

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a General Government reserve for military purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for municipal purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a General Government reserve for military purposes to a reserve for municipal purposes.

SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 21 perches, more or less, and being Lot 1 of Reserve 102, situated in the Borough of Timaru, and bounded as follows: Towards the west, south, and east by a public road, 680·3 links, 905·5 links, and 307·4 links respectively, and towards the north-east by Lot 3 of Reserve 102, 1025·6 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/11/35A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Pahiatua County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of July, 1942.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel purposes, and is vested in the Pahiatua County Council:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Pahiatua County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Pahiatua County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SECTION 29, Block IX, Mangahao Survey District: Area, 1 acre 2 roods 32 perches.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waihora Park Domain.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Reginald Orton Bradley,
Francis James Miller,
Edward Hodgen,
Ivor Cranley Gray,
William Clarence Miller,
Roy Anderson, and
John Rennie

to be the Waihora Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Pavilion as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Chairman of the Bay of Islands County Council, ex officio,
The member of the Bay of Islands County Council, representing the Pakaraka Riding, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Kaikohe Town Board, ex officio,
Albert Henry Morgan,
John Wyatt, and
Wiremu Maihi

to be the Ngawha Hot Springs Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Board Office, Kaikohe, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—NGAWHA HOT SPRINGS DOMAIN.

SECTION 3, Block XVI, Omapere Survey District: Area, 4 acres 2 roods 8 perches.
