A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, the leasehold estates or interests in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King as to the land firstly described in such Second Schedule by Alice Ryall under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 36, folio 260, Westland Registry, as to the land secondly described in such Second Schedule by James Matthew Dennehy under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 32, folio 228, Westland Registry, as to the land thirdly, fourthly, fifthly, sixthly, seventhly, and eighthly described in such Second Schedule by James Matthew Dennehy under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 31, folio 217, Westland Registry, as to the land ninthly described in such Second Schedule by John Ryall and Denis Ryall, as tenants in common in equal shares, under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 17, folio 228, Southland Registry, as to the land tenthly, eleventhly, and twelfthly described in such Second Schedule by Nathaniel Richard White under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 27, folio 231, Westland Registry, as to the land thirteenthly described in such Second Schedule by John Lewis under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 34, folio 128, Westland Registry, and as to the land fourteenthly described in such Second Schedule by John Lewis under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 21, folio 155, Westland Registry, are hereby taken, and the Crown land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby set apart, for public works; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.
