Land taken, Leasehold Estates or Interests in Land taken, and Crown Land set apart, for Public Works.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, the leasehold estates or interests in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King as to the land firstly described in such Second Schedule by Samuel Aird McSkimming under and by virtue of a lease under section four of the Discharged Soldiers’ Settlement Act, 1915, Volume 96, folio 104, Taranaki Registry, as to the land secondly described in such Second Schedule by Gilbert Loxley Galt under and by virtue of Lease No. 8429, Southland Registry, as to the land thirdly described in such Second Schedule by Harold George Pinckney under and by virtue of Lease No. 8983, Southland Registry, and as to the land fourthly described in such Second Schedule by William Grieve, John Morton Grieve, and Robert Glendinning Grieve under and by virtue of lease No. 7857, Southland Registry, are hereby taken, and the Crown land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for public works; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.
