IT is hereby notified that an order of adoption as set out
in the Schedule hereunder was made by the Native
Land Court at Levin on the 25th day of March, 1942, under
the provisions of the Native Land Act, 1931.

the election of a member of the Taranaki Land Board,
do hereby notify, in accordance with the provisions of section
47 of the Land Act, 1924, and the regulations made thereunder,
that the only person nominated to fill the vacancy occurring
on the said Board was

Charles James Ryan, of Ohura,

and I do therefore hereby declare that the said Charles
James Ryan is duly elected a member of the Taranaki Land
Board for a term of two years as from the 16th day of August,
1942.

under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.

AN application has been received from R. J. Rawson,
91 Newton Road, Auckland, for an extension of his
existing license so as to include the manufacture of children’s
and boys’ shoes by the cemented, machine-sewn, and fair-
stitch methods.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 16th July, 1942.
