Notice calling up Reservists for Service Overseas with the
Armed Forces.

Wellington, 4th June, 1942.
I T is hereby notified for general information that, in
pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44
of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I
have this day issued to —
Arnold Edgar Manning, Waterside Worker, 62 Wellington
Street, Auckland, Registration No. 628078,
John Arthur Hassell, Bushman and Flax-cutter, Bainesse,
via Foxton, Registration No. 626679,
George Douglas Hassell, Contractor, Bainesse, via Foxton,
Registration No. 626678,
Henry Andreas Ries, Farmer, Pohokura, Stratford,
Registration No. 627876, and
Walter Garland Argus, Salesman, 138 Victoria Street,
Christchurch, Registration No. 454145,
notices calling them up for service overseas with the Armed
Forces, such persons having been severally convicted for that,
being reservists belonging to a division of the Reserve the
enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to
make application in writing for enrolment in that class of
the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National
Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

Price Order No. 85.

I N pursuance of the powers conferred upon the Price
Tribunal by the Control of Prices Emergency Regula-
tions 1939, and with the authority of the Minister of Industries
and Commerce, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following
Price Order :—
- This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 85.
- (1) Price Order No. 20 is hereby revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said Price Order shall not affect
the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto
committed before the date of this Order. - The maximum price at which asparagus packed by
J. Wattie Canneries, Ltd., of Hastings, and bearing the trade
name of “Frimley,” may be sold by way of retail at any
place in New Zealand where a wholesale merchant buying
such asparagus “freight paid” is situated shall be not more
than 1s. 9¾d. per tin of 14½ oz. net contents and 3s. 1d. per
tin of 1 lb. 14½ oz. net contents. - The maximum price at which such asparagus may be
sold by way of retail at any other place in New Zealand shall
be not more than 1s. 10d. per tin of 14½ oz. net contents
and 3s. 2d. per tin of 1 lb. 14½ oz. net contents.

- The maximum price at which such boot polish and
stains may be sold by way of retail at any other place in
New Zealand shall be not more than as follows :—

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License
under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
A N application has been received from Soldiers’ Civil
Re-establishment League (Inc.), 182 Rattray Street,
Dunedin, for a license to commence in the above industry
to the extent of manufacturing wooden clogs, such license
to operate for the duration of the war.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 18th June, 1942.

Taking of Fish for Sale.
A N application has been received from A. Duthie, 1 Smith
Street, Ponsonby, Auckland, for a variation in the
conditions of his industrial fishing license so as to enable him
to operate the fishing-vessel “Ahuriri,” AK. 125, using trawl-
nets, hand-lines, long lines, set-nets, drag-nets, and crayfish-
pots, catches to be landed at Auckland.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 18th June, 1942.
