IT is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have this day issued to—
John Phillip Williams, Steward, 209 The Terrace, Wellington, Registration No. 621751,
William Woodcock, Poultry-farmer, Stokes Valley, Hertauanga, Registration No. 600438,
Kelvin Henry Whetton, Aircraft-designer, 58 Alma Road, Wanganui, Registration No. 622138,
John Mouat, Farm Labourer, care of the Chief Post-office, Napier, Registration No. 626810,
Albert Theodore Fairbairn, Horse-trainer, Shand’s Track, Hornby, Christchurch, Registration No. 622388,

notices calling them for service overseas with the Armed Forces, such persons having been severally convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a division of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

IT is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have this day issued to—
James Ellis Burt, Clothing-manufacturer, Tainui Road, Paraparaumu, Registration No. 626648,
a notice calling him up for service with the Territorial Force, such person having been convicted for that, being a reservist belonging to a division of the Reserve the enrolment of which
has been proclaimed, did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
AN application has been received from W. Matheson, care of Post-office, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, for a license to enable him to take fish for sale at Tauranga by means of the fishing-vessel “Tua Tea” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 14th day of May, 1942.
