Notice revoking the Oil Fuel Retail Hours (Rotorua) Order 1940, No. 2.
Pursuant to the Oil Fuel Retail Hours Emergency Regulations (No. 2) 1940, and to the powers in that behalf therein conferred upon him, the Minister of Labour doth hereby revoke the Oil Fuel Retail Hours (Rotorua) Order 1940, No. 2, as from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Notice under the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, and its Amendments, fixing the Closing-hours of Tobacconists' Shops within the Borough of Papakura.
Whereas a requisition in writing has been forwarded to me from the occupiers of tobacconists' shops within the Borough of Papakura, pursuant to section 32 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22:
And whereas, I, David Wilson, acting for the Minister of Labour, am satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the said shops within the said borough:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said section 32, I do hereby direct that on and after the 11th day of May, 1942, all the said shops within the said borough shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows: On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 5.30 p.m., and on Fridays at 9 p.m., with the following exceptions:
(1) Should the occupier of any shop affected by this notice observe, pursuant to section 14 (2) of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, Saturday as the statutory closing day, then and in such case the closing-hour on Wednesday for such shop shall be 5.30 p.m.
(2) Should the occupier of any shop affected by this notice close his shop for the whole of any Friday, the closing-hour for such shop on the Thursday of that week shall be 9 p.m.
