National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Declaration of Essential Undertaking (No. 66).
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby declare the undertaking set forth hereunder to be an essential undertaking for the purposes of those regulations:—
The Government Printing and Stationery Department at Wellington.

National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Amendment to Declaration of Essential Industry (No. 7).
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby amend the Declaration of Essential Industry (No. 7) by adding thereto, after the words “any operations engaged in the supply of logs to these factories or industrial plants,” the words “or in the delivery of timber materials as required by the Timber Controller.”

Date of Election by Fire-insurance Companies to fill Extraordinary Vacancy on the Invercargill Fire Board.

Wellington, 21st April, 1942.
PURSUANT to the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, and the rules made thereunder, the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act doth hereby appoint Thursday, the 14th day of May, 1942, to be the date for holding the election of one member of the Invercargill Fire Board by the fire-insurance companies concerned, such election being held to fill the extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. R. R. Binney.
