By omitting from paragraph 1 the words “will be conveyed as goods traffic” and
substituting the words “will be conveyed as parcels or goods traffic (at
the option of the Department).”
92. Exhibits forwarded to and from Shows, Horses forwarded to and from
Ploughing-matches.
Paragraph 1: By adding after the word “implements” in first line, the word
“tractors.”
97. Haulage between Sheds and Sidings and Handling Charges.
Paragraph 6: By omitting from the first line the words “any wagon” and
substituting the words “a wagon.”
125. Miscellaneous.
By omitting from paragraph 8 the words “is not responsible for the fulfilment of
coach, steamer, or other services not managed and controlled by the Depart-
ment and ”.
By adding the following new paragraph :—
8A. The Department will not be responsible for any loss of or damage or delay
to any goods or for any loss or delay to any person caused by the non-fulfilment of
any road motor, shipping, or other service not managed and controlled by the
Department. In the event of the failure or refusal of any such service to accept any
goods from the Department such goods will either be held by the Department at
the sole risk in every respect of the owner or delivered to the direction of the owner,
subject in every case to the payment of the charges for carriage already performed
and also of any charges and expenses for the custody, care, and maintenance of
the goods, or incurred in the fulfilment of the direction of the owner.
