(b) Age and state of repair ;
(c) Size or capacity ;
(d) Whether equipped with self-contained motor and, if
so, the horse-power of such motor ;
(e) Equipment and attachments held for use with the
machine ;
(f) Class of work on which machine is being used ;
(g) Number of hours per week that machine is being
operated ;
(h) Where located and name of owner.

The Leather Control Notice 1942.

PURSUANT to the Factory Emergency Regulations 1939,
I, George Augustus Pascoe, Factory Controller, hereby
direct and give notice as follows :—

  1. This Notice may be cited as the Leather Control Notice

  2. Every occupier of a factory and every owner of factory
    materials shall comply with the provisions of this Notice.

  3. Compliance with this Notice may be excused or varied
    by the express prior consent in writing of the Factory Con-
    troller and subject to such conditions as may be specified in
    such consent.

  4. Any such consent may at any time be withdrawn by
    notice in writing by the Factory Controller to the person to
    whom such consent was given.

  5. On and after the day following the date of publication
    hereof in the Gazette ox and cow chrome-tanned hides
    (including yearling and calf skins)—

(a) Shall not be used for any purpose other than the
manufacture of footwear ;

(b) Shall not be sold, lent, or otherwise transferred or
disposed of to any person other than a footwear
manufacturer licensed under the Industrial Efficiency
Act, 1936.
