Officers authorized to take and receive Statutory Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the service of the Crown holding the offices stated opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

Appointment of Member of Medical Council under Medical Practitioners Act, 1914.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Medical Practitioners Act, 1914, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

George Douglas Robb, M.D., Univ. N.Z., 1929, F.R.C.S., Eng., 1926,

to be a member of the Medical Council under the aforesaid Act.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 26th day of March, 1942.

Major (Acting Lieutenant-Colonel) H. E. Fernyhough, Royal Artillery, is granted the local rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 3rd March, 1942.

N.Z. ARMY PAY CORPS.

Hon. Lieutenant R. A. Bolland is granted the honorary rank of Captain. Dated 24th March, 1942.
