Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, give notice that on and after the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, in accordance with and subject to the tenor of the said consent, be set apart as a reserve for a police-station.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Nelson Land District containing by admeasurement 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, and being Section 45, Waiuta Township, Block XIII, Waitahu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked N. 6/116, deposited in the Head Office of the Mines Department at Wellington, and thereon in outline coloured red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 18th day of March, 1942.

Land set apart in the Wellington Land District as a Site for a Technical School.

Whereas by section thirty-three of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, on the recommendation of the Land Board of the district in which are situated any reserves or endowments vested in the Crown by or in pursuance of section two of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1910, or of section twenty-two of the first-mentioned Act, set apart as sites for public schools, secondary schools, or technical schools any part of such reserves or endowments:
And whereas the Land Board of the Wellington Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be set apart as a site for a technical school, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a site for a technical school.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the City of Palmerston North containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 19·74 perches, more or less, being part Suburban Section 229, Town of Palmerston, bounded : Commencing at the westernmost corner of Suburban Section 228, Town of Palmerston, in a north-westerly direction along the north-eastern side of Rangitikei Street for a distance of 22·2 links ; thence in a northerly direction along a right line bearing 358° 45’ 50” for a distance of 546·56 links ; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Suburban Section 230 for a distance of 736·1 links ; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Suburban Sections 235 and 236 for a distance of 500 links ; and thence along the north-western boundary of Suburban Section 228 for a distance of 1001·45 links to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/493c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and therein bordered red.
