CORRIGENDUM.
IN the notice published in the Gazette No. 23 of 5th March at page 631, under the heading “Member of the Hurunui Rabbit Board appointed,” for the name “Frederick David Dazell” read “Frederick David Dalzell.”

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road in the Raglan County, at Weaver’s Crossing.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Huntly–Awaroa Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road :
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Raglan County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 10 perches.
Portion of Railway land, formerly part road ; coloured green.
Situated in Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District, Raglan County. (S.O. 16756.)
In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6812, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of March, 1942.

Additional Land between Whangamarino and Te Kauwhata taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway to take further land between Whangamarino and Te Kauwhata in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
