Every decision, judgment, order, and direction of the Court made in respect of the matters referred to it by these regulations shall be final, and shall not be subject to appeal to the Native Appellate Court or any other tribunal.

Every party or person who shall at any time fail to comply with the terms and conditions of any order made by the Court pursuant to these regulations shall be deemed to commit a breach of these regulations and shall be liable at law accordingly.

So soon as the Court in accordance with these regulations shall by its decision, judgment, order, or direction have disposed of and determined the disputes enumerated and referred to in Regulation 4 hereof, the decision, judgment, order, and direction of the Court shall be deemed to be in substitution for all causes of action arising out of the aforesaid disputes, and the parties thereto shall be deemed to have released and discharged each other from all causes of action arising thereout, and from all other causes of action of whatsoever nature (if any) in any way arising out of the premises or incidental thereto.

For the purposes of the application to the matters hereby referred of section thirteen of the said Act the said matters shall be deemed to have arisen within the Ikaroa Native Land Court District.

If any matter referred to the Court under these regulations be heard before a Court the members of which are equally divided in opinion, the finding of a majority of the Court, excluding the junior member thereof, shall stand as the finding of the Court.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of the Defence Amendment Act, 1912, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give a general authority to the undermentioned officer to convene General or District Courts-martial for the trial of such persons subject to military law as are for the time being under or within the territorial limits of his command and to confirm the findings and sentences thereof, and do hereby empower such officer to delegate to any officer under his command not below the degree of field officer this general authority to convene such General or District Courts-martial :—
Major-General (temporary) Owen Herbert Mead, C.B.E., D.S.O., General Officer Commanding the Pacific Section, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force.

Appointment of Members of the Radio Plan Industrial Committee under Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
WHEREAS a plan for the organization of the industry referred to in the Industry Licensing (Radio-manufacture) Notice 1939 (Serial No. 1939/72) has been approved in accordance with section 9 of the aforesaid Act : Now, therefore, I, Daniel Giles Sullivan, Minister of Industries and Commerce, acting in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the said Act, and being of the opinion that the appointment is desirable of a special committee to assist in carrying out the provisions of the said plan, do hereby appoint for that purpose a committee to be known as the Radio Plan Industrial Committee, and having given public notice in the Gazette on the 13th day of November, 1941, at page 3652, of my intention to appoint members of such a committee pursuant to the Industrial Efficiency (Radio) Regulations 1941, and therein having called upon licensees to submit to me the names of persons to be appointed, I do hereby appoint the following persons to be members thereof :—

Francis Joseph Anthony Brogan, Assistant Secretary, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Wellington.
