Calling out Parts of the Defence Forces for Military Service.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Defence Emergency Regulations 1941, the Governor-General may by Proclamation call out any part or parts of the Defence Forces for military service :
And whereas, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Emergency Regulations 1941, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, do hereby call out for military service for purposes of defence in New Zealand as from 10th January, 1942, the following parts of the Defence Forces, namely :—
TERRITORIAL FORCE.
Headquarters, Northern, Central, and Southern Divisions.
Headquarters, 7th and 12th New Zealand Infantry Brigades.
Army Signals, Northern, Central, and Southern Divisional Signals.
Field Security Sections, Northern, Central, and Southern Divisions.
Defence and Employment Platoons, Northern, Central, and Southern Divisions.
Defence Platoons, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 10th, 11th, and 12th New Zealand Infantry Brigades.
The Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry.
Queen Alexandra’s (Wellington West Coast) Mounted Rifles.
The Waikato Mounted Rifles.
The Otago Mounted Rifles.
The Wellington East Coast Mounted Rifles.
The North Auckland Mounted Rifles.
12th Field Regiment, New Zealand Artillery.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Survey Troops, New Zealand Artillery.
15th, 16th, and 17th Field Batteries, New Zealand Artillery.
18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st Anti-tank Batteries, New Zealand Artillery.
15th and 16th Anti-aircraft Regiments, New Zealand Artillery.
22nd, 31st, 32nd, and 33rd Field Companies, Corps of New Zealand Engineers.
2nd Battalion, The Wellington Regiment (City of Wellington’s Own).
1st Battalion, The Ruahine Regiment.
1st Battalion, The North Auckland Regiment.
2nd and 3rd Battalions, The Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own).
5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th Composite Companies, New Zealand Army Service Corps.
1st, 5th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Reserve Mechanical Transport Companies, New Zealand Army Service Corps.
27th, 29th, 51st, 52nd, 53rd, 54th, 55th, 56th, 58th, and 60th Light Aid Detachments, New Zealand Ordnance Corps.
1st and 4th Provost Companies, Corps of New Zealand Military Police.
1st, 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 15th, and 16th Field Ambulances, New Zealand Medical Corps.
1st and 4th Motor Ambulance Convoys, New Zealand Medical Corps.
1st and 5th Field Hygiene Sections, New Zealand Medical Corps.
INDEPENDENT MOUNTED RIFLES.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Independent Squadrons, Mounted Rifles.
NATIONAL MILITARY RESERVE.
1st, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd Battalions.
5th, 7th, 8th, 17th, 19th, 20th, and 21st Companies.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of January, 1942.
