Arthur Pass National Park.—Chairman of Board appointed.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the 18th day of February, 1942, and published in Gazette of the 19th day of that month, a Board was appointed to have the control and management of the Arthur Pass National Park, in pursuance of section 73 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :
And whereas it is now expedient that a member of the said Board should be appointed as the Chairman thereof :
Now, therefore, I, James Gillispie Barclay, for and on behalf of the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 75 of the said Act, do hereby appoint
The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Canterbury Land District
to be the Chairman of the Arthur Pass National Park Board hereinbefore referred to.
