31 perches, more or less, and being part of Reserve 1858,
situated in the Borough of Timaru, and bounded as follows:
Towards the north-west and north generally by Lagoon
Street, 357·2 links, and by the south-east boundary of Lot 52,
Deposit Plan 263, by Flinders Street, by Lots 85 to 98,
inclusive, and Lot 101, Deposit Plan 263, by Collins Street,
by Lot 102, Deposit Plan 263, and by Rural Sections 2367
and 1702; towards the south-east by Reserve 1856, 703·9
links, 2570·2 links, 1710·4 links, and 1396·0 links; towards
the south by Rural Section 3753, 104·9 links, and again
towards the north-west and towards the south generally
by other part of Reserve 1858, 1371·1 links, 1719·6 links,
2586·3 links, 589·2 links, 823·8 links, 759·9 links, 671·4 links,
401·7 links, 308·4 links, 1004·7 links, 281·8 links, 192·6 links,
and 390·95 links. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 6/11/81c, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon coloured red.

Order under Section 6 of the Visiting Forces Act, 1939.

C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General.
FOR the purposes of section six of the Visiting Forces
Act, 1939, and in accordance with the terms of sub-
section five of that section, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby declare that the Air Forces of His Majesty raised in
New Zealand are, during or in respect of the present war,
serving together and acting in combination with the Air
Forces of His Majesty raised in the Commonwealth of
Australia:
Provided that this Order shall not apply within the
Dominion of New Zealand nor within any other territory
for the defence of which His Majesty’s Government in New
Zealand is responsible unless and until the Air Forces of His
Majesty raised in the Commonwealth of Australia are serving
within the said Dominion or within any such territory.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 25th day of February, 1942.

Order under Section 6 of the Visiting Forces Act, 1939.

FOR the purposes of section six of the Visiting Forces
Act, 1939, and in accordance with the terms of sub-
section five of that section, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby order and declare that the Military and Air Forces
of His Majesty raised in New Zealand which are serving in
the United Kingdom or on the Continent of Europe during or
in respect of the present war shall be deemed to be serving
together and acting in combination with the Military and Air
Forces respectively of His Majesty raised in the Dominion of
Canada.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 4th day of March, 1942.

Appointment of Officer for the Purposes of the Sale of Food
and Drugs Act, 1908.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on me by section two of the Sale of Food and
Drugs Act, 1908, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Robert Bamberry
to be an officer for the purposes of the Sale of Food and Drugs
Act, 1908.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 27th day of February, 1942.

Declaring Crown Land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District to be
subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
(hereinafter referred to as the “said land”) is
Crown land not acquired under the Land for Settlements
Act, 1925, but is adjacent to certain land acquired under
the said Act, and known as the Raumati Settlement and
can conveniently be disposed of therewith:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting in pursuance
and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by section one hundred and five of the said Act, and on
the recommendation of the Land Settlement Board, and
after considering the report of the Hawke’s Bay District Land
Board, do hereby declare the said land to be subject to the
said Act, to the intent that it shall hereupon be deemed to
be portion of the said Raumati Settlement and may be
disposed of accordingly.

SCHEDULE.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 74, Block XIV, Norsewood Survey District: Area,
4 acres 1 rood 5·1 perches.

Vesting a Reserve in the Greymouth Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of
March, 1942.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart as a reserve for municipal
purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-
General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Greymouth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from
and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in
the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Greymouth, in
trust, for municipal purposes.

Area, 1 rood 0·6 perches, more or less.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the
three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the
Peace Act, 1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify
and declare that Percy Harold Wylde, being an officer in
the service of the Crown holding the office of Deputy
Registrar-General at Wellington, is authorized to take and
receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-
first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 2nd day of March, 1942.
