Additional Land taken for the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, near Aongatete.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 9 perches.

Being road adjoining Railway land, formerly part Allotments 189 and 226, Apata Parish.

Situated in Block VI, Aongatete Survey District, Tauranga County. (S.O. 24314.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6746, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of December, 1941.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of the Wellington–Foxton Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the fourteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same year at page 271, taking land for the purposes of the Wellington–Foxton Railway, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 acres.

Being part Railway land in Proclamation 2653, formerly part Waimapihi Block, Block V, Paekakariki Survey District, Hutt County. (S.O. 20832.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6742, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of December, 1941.

Enabling the Supreme Court to exercise Jurisdiction in Prize.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation bearing date the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, made in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred by the Prize Courts Act, 1894 (Imperial), and to the intent that the jurisdiction in Prize of the Supreme Court should thenceforth become exercisable, it was proclaimed that war had broken out between His Majesty and Germany:

And whereas by information received by me I am satisfied that war has broken out as hereinafter proclaimed:

Now, therefore, in further pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred on me by the said Act, and to the intent that the jurisdiction in Prize of the Supreme Court shall thenceforth become exercisable, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, Governor-General and Vice-Admiral of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that war has broken out between His Majesty of the one part, and the Republic of Finland, the Regent and Government of Hungary, the King of Roumania, and the Emperor of Japan, respectively, of the other part.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand and Vice-Admiral of the same, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of December, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.
