Promotion of Officers of the New Zealand Regular Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following promotions of officers of the New Zealand Regular Force :-

STAFF.

Colonel (temp.) A. E. Conway, O.B.E., N.Z. Staff Corps, is granted the temporary rank of Brigadier whilst holding the appointment of Adjutant-General, and Second Military Member of the Army Board, Army Headquarters. Dated 24th November, 1941.

Colonel K. L. Stewart, O.B.E., 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff (temp.), Army Headquarters, and is granted the temporary rank of Brigadier in the N.Z. Staff Corps while so employed. Dated 24th November, 1941.

Colonel (temp.) H. E. Avery, C.M.G., D.S.O., N.Z. Staff Corps, is granted the temporary rank of Brigadier whilst holding the appointment of Quartermaster-General, and Third Military Member of the Army Board, Army Headquarters. Dated 24th November, 1941.
