A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road-diversion in connection with the Palmerston North Deviation of the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway.

Taking Land for Housing Purposes in the City of Lower Hutt.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 37-81 perches. Being closed street adjoining part Section 49, Hutt District, and Lots 17 to 23 inclusive, 28, and 29, D.P. 8543, and Lot 37, D.P. 7636, being portions of Section 46, Hutt District. Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 20660.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109868, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of February, 1942.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation taking Land in connection with the Palmerston North Deviation of the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 62 of the thirty-first day of the same month at page 2211, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3128, taking land for road-diversion in connection with the Palmerston North Deviation of the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required: 16-27 perches. Being part Lot 2 on D.P. 7073, being portion of Section 1564. Situated in Block X, Kairanga Survey District. (S.O. 20844.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113210, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of February, 1942.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the lands described in the Schedule hereto has been completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said lands have become Crown land.
