ESTATE OF VICTOR GEORGE CLARENCE BOYENS.
In the matter of the Administration Act, 1908, and its
amendments, and in the matter of the Estate of VICTOR
GEORGE CLARENCE BOYENS, late of Pahiatua, Pastry-
cook, but now deceased.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of
the Dominion of New Zealand, on the 23rd day
of January, 1942, pursuant to the powers in that behalf
conferred upon him by section 62 of the above-mentioned
Act, filed a certificate in the Supreme Court at Wellington
electing to administer the above estate under Part IV of the
said Act, and that the said estate will, as from the said date,
be administered, realized, and distributed in accordance with
the law and practice of bankruptcy.
Notice is further given that I do hereby summon a meeting
of creditors of the above estate to be held at the Pahiatua
Borough Council Chambers on Friday, the 6th day of February,
1942, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon.
Notice is finally given that all creditors, whether they
have already submitted their claims or not, are required to
prove their debts within the time and in the manner provided
by the Bankruptcy Act, 1908. Proof-of-debt forms may be
procured at my office.

HASTINGS BOROUGH COUNCIL.
WATER-MAINS COMPLETION LOAN, 1941.
Resolution making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and
in pursuance and exercise of all other Acts, powers, and
authorities enabling it in this behalf, the Hastings Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows :-
"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a special loan of £6,000 (to be known as
“Water-mains Completion Loan, 1941”), authorized to be
raised by the Hastings Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the cost of
completing the duplication of the Council's water-mains from
the pumping-station in Hastings to the reservoir at Havelock
North, the said Hastings Borough Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of seven one-hundredths of a penny in
the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough
of Hastings comprising the whole of the Borough of Hastings ;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years from
the lst day of February, 1942, or until the loan is fully paid
off."
