SCHEDULE.

THE GORE MILK DELIVERY SCHEME, 1942.

(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,—

“ The district ” means the Borough of Gore, as indicated by zones marked on the plan :

“ The plan ” means the plan of the district deposited for the purposes of the scheme in the Head Office of the Transport Department at Wellington under No. TT. 3376 :

“ Minister ” means the Minister of Transport :

“ Zone ” means a zone of the district marked on the said plan.

(2) For the purposes of assisting in the administration of this scheme there shall be a committee which shall consist of the following members :—

(a) Two members to be appointed by the Gore Borough Council :

(b) One member to be appointed by the parties to this scheme :

(c) The Zoning Officer for South Island.

(3) On the death or resignation of any member of the committee, the vacancy created thereby shall be filled by appointment in the manner in which the vacating member was appointed.

(4) The functions of the committee shall be to receive and investigate complaints affecting the administration of this scheme, to advise the Minister on any matters that may be referred to it of its own motion, and to make recommendations to the Minister for amending this scheme.

(5) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme, the committee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks fit.

(6) The names of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and the areas in which they may deliver milk are as follows :—

The Steel Stock Returns Control Notice 1942.

PURSUANT to the Supply Control Emergency Regulations 1939, the Factory Emergency Regulations 1939, and the Building Emergency Regulations 1939, the Minister of Supply and Munitions hereby directs and gives notice as follows :—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Steel Stock Returns Control Notice 1942.

  2. This notice shall come into force on the day next following the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

  3. Within fourteen days after the coming into force of this notice every person who owns or has in his possession or control more than two tons of steel in the form of plates (all types), joists, channels, reinforcing bars, rounds, octagons, ovals, flats, hexagons, squares (bright and black), angles, tees, shafting, rails, and hoop and strip, shall furnish in duplicate to the Secretary, Steel Distributors, Ltd., P.O., Box 348, Wellington, information of such stocks of steel in conformity with the form provided for the purpose and obtainable as mentioned in clause 5 hereof.

  4. The stock returns must be certified as being complete by the owner or person in whose possession or control the steel is, and all steel owned, possessed, or controlled must be included in the return notwithstanding that any such steel may be reserved for any special works or contracts. Where any such steel is reserved for any special work or contract, particulars of such work or contract must be supplied with the return.

  5. The necessary forms for the return may be obtained from the undermentioned :—
