Land taken for a Cemetery in Block IX, Wakapuaka Survey District, Waima County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a cemetery and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Nelson as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.

In the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115227, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 29·76 perches.
Adjoining Te Kaha No. 39 Block.
Situated in Block V, Te Kaha Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4222, blue.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114633, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Crown Land in Wellington Land District set apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—BOROUGH OF LOWER HUTT.—
BLOCK XIV, BELMONT SURVEY DISTRICT.
SECTION 1, BLOCK XLIX, Hutt Valley Settlement: Area, 24·43 perches.

Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary Education.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the endowment for primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Raglan County, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 6·7 perches, more or less, being Allotment 437, Parish of Pirongia. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2842, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan 28704.)
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Raglan County, containing by admeasurement 37 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Allotment 100, Parish of Pirongia, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 152, folio 268, Auckland Registry. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2842A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of November, 1942.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Motatau 3L Block, Block XIV, Kawakawa Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section four hundred and seventy-eight of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:
And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the said Act:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 2 roods 35 perches.
Being portion of Motatau 3L Block.
Situated in Block XIV, Kawakawa Survey District. (N.L. plan 13091.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/715A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2908, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of November, 1942.
