NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land having been declared forfeit by resolution of the North Auckland Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders, marked on the outside “Tender,” will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Government Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland, up to 2 o’clock p.m. on Friday, 9th January, 1942, for the sale of the undermentioned lands under the provisions of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1930.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LANDS.
Pakuranga Parish.
D.P. 17870, being part Allotment 57.
Lot 101: Area, 34·7 perches.
Lot 102: Area, 34·2 perches.
These sections, which are situated at Bucklands Beach, fifteen miles from the Central Post-office, Auckland, comprise rising land in clean grass, most suitable for seaside building-sites overlooking the Tamaki River.
The sections are subject to fencing agreement as contained in memorandum of transfer No. 261832.

- Land in Southland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease. *
District Lands and Survey Office,
Invercargill, 2nd December, 1941.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned property is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill, up to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 13th January, 1942.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill, on Thursday, 15th January, 1942, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands. Applicants are required to produce documentary evidence of their financial position and farming experience.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of weighting for improvements.
This property is situated within the Otago Mining District and is offered subject to section 153 of the Land Act, 1924, which provides that no right to any mineral under the surface shall pertain to the lessee, whose rights shall be to the surface soil only.
