SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land in the Waiariki Native Land Court District containing 53 acres 3 roods 17 perches, more or less, situate in Block III, Maketu Survey District, being part of the Native Land Court Subdivision called or known as Rangiruru 2a 1, and being also part of the land comprised and recorded in provisional register, Vol. 138, folio 35, Auckland Registry.

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 8th day of January, 1937, and published in Gazette No. 5 of the 21st day of the same month at page 243, whereby the said land was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, and the said land is hereby excluded from the Ngati-Manawa Development Scheme.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Land in Wellington Land District for Selection on Optional Tenures.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 28th November, 1941.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned property is open for selection on optional tenures under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 26th January, 1942.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 28th January, 1942, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands. Applicants are required to produce evidence of their financial position and farming experience.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.
