NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder set forth:—

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed George Edward Turney, of the Public Trust Office, Wellington, to be deputy of the District Public Trustee, Napier, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.

Unclaimed Lands.—Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments.

TO the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that piece of land situate in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing 99 acres 39 perches, more or less, being Section 23 of Block IV, Katikati Survey District, and being the whole of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 24, folio 254, Auckland Registry, and being the whole of the land comprised in the grant under the Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1874, to Charles Peel Nash, of Katikati, Settler.

Whereas, after due inquiry, the owner of the above-described land cannot be found: And whereas the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand:

Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land, and if he fails or neglects so to do the Public Trustee will exercise as regards the said land the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish for Sale.

AN application has been received from G. H. Bragg, Half Moon Bay, Stewart Island, for a license to take fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel “Endeavour,” using set-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Half Moon Bay.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 20th November, 1941.

AN application has been received from Bluff Fish and Oyster Co., Ltd., Bluff, for a license to take fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel “Karakа,” BF. 40, using set-nets and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Bluff, Halfmoon Bay, and Port Pegasus.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 20th November, 1941.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.

AN application has been received from A. Pitkethly, 127 Parnell Road, Auckland, for a license to manufacture children’s footwear, sizes 0–6 by the stuck-on process, and sizes 7–10 and 11–5, including maids’ and youths’, by the fairstitch and machine-sewn methods.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 20th November, 1941.
