TAUPIRI DRAINAGE AND RIVER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,
the Taupiri Drainage and River Board hereby resolves as
follows:—

“That for the purpose of providing the instalments of
principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of one
thousand pounds authorized to be raised under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a drag-line
dredge together with other drainage construction and main-
tenance machinery from the Public Works Department, the
Taupiri Drainage and River Board hereby makes and levies
special rates on an acreage basis on all rateable property
in the Taupiri Drainage and River District as follows:—

“Classification of land and special rate per pound per
acre on lands in each Classification—

“A. B. C. D. E. F.
“2d. 1½d. 1d. ½d. ¼d. ¼d.,

“and that such special rates shall be annually-recurring
rates during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly
on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of eight years or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

age Trust Board for the year ended 31st July, 1941.

We report that, in our opinion, the above balance-sheet
is properly drawn up so as to exhibit a true and correct
view of the state of the Board’s affairs as at 31st July, 1941,
according to the best of our information and the explanations
given to us and as shown by the books of the Board. We
have verified the existence of the assets as shown in the
balance-sheet and we certify that all our requirements as

MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Drainage Supplementary Loan, 1941, £20,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £20,000 (Drainage Supplementary Loan,
1941) authorized to be raised by the Mount Albert Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the carrying-out
of drainage works, the said Mount Albert Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of a
penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable
property of the Borough of Mount Albert, comprising the
whole of the Borough of Mount Albert, and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of thirty years or until the loan is fully paid
off.”
