Recreation Reserves in Canterbury Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of October, 1941.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter be known as the Kairaki Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE 4069, Block XII and XVI, Rangiora Survey District: Area, 182 acres 3 roods 33 perches, more or less.
Also part Reserve 4060, Block XVI, Rangiora Survey District, containing by admeasurement 67 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Beach Road, 1812·6 links; towards the east by the road reserved along the sea-coast, 3797·8 links; towards the south by other part of Reserve 4060, 1773·8 links; and towards the west by Reserve 3658, 3767·0 links.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/75/11A, deposited in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Chertsey Domain.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Joseph Burrowes,
Hugh Reeve Wilkinson,
Charles Thomas Alexander Ward,
Daniel Lynch,
Roy Doig, and
Orry Moore (sen.)

to be the Chertsey Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the thirtieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Chertsey School as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CHERTSEY DOMAIN.
RESERVE 2376, Block VIII, Ashburton Survey District: Area, 29 acres 1 rood 38 perches, more or less.
Also Reserve 3037 (formerly Sections 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 46, 47, 48, 49, and 50, Town of Chertsey), Block VIII, Ashburton Survey District: Area, 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches, more or less.
Also Reserve 4089, Block VIII, Ashburton Survey District: Area, 1 rood.

Consenting to a Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land being taken for a Public School in the City of Invercargill.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of October, 1941.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto held from His Majesty the King by Hugh MacDonald, of Invercargill, Engineer, under and by virtue of Memorandum of Lease, Registered No. 7450, Southland Registry, for a term of twenty-one years from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, being taken for a public school.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate or interest is permitted to be taken: 35 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 2537, part Section 23.
Situated in Block I, Invercargill Hundred (City of Invercargill) (Southland R.D.).
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108422, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Declaring Portions of Road in Block IX, Waimata Survey District, to be Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of October, 1941.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.
