Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road in the Rangitikei County, at Turakina.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road: Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Rangitikei County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

0 0 12·4 Part Railway land in Proclamation 128, being part Ruatangata Block; coloured orange.
0 0 30·5 Part Railway land in Proclamation 1904, being part Ruatangata Block 1b 4F 1; coloured blue.
Situated in Block XV, Ikitara Survey District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 20708.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6543, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of October, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a State Highway Depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 0 roods 21·49 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 11164, being part Section 325, Okotuku District.
Situated in Block VII, Wairoa Survey District. (S.O. 20804.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 112387, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of October, 1941.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
