KAIKOHE TOWN BOARD.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR THE PURPOSES OF STREETS IN BLOCK XV, OMAPERE SURVEY DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of streets: And notice is hereby further given that the plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited at the office of the Kaikohe Town Board at Kaikohe and are there open for inspection (without fee) during office hours; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Kaikohe Town Board at Kaikohe.

In the Provincial District of Auckland; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited at the office of the Kaikohe Town Board at Kaikohe.

THE ALLIANCE ADVANCE AND DISCOUNT CO., LTD.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE ALLIANCE ADVANCE AND DISCOUNT CO., LTD. (in Voluntary Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an adjourned meeting of the above-named company, held in Dunedin on the 19th day of September, 1941, the following special resolutions were passed :—
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
“2. That the company amalgamate with Carlton Advances, Limited, in accordance with the provisions of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1933.”
“3. That MR. L. MILLAR be appointed liquidator.”
“4. That the liquidator be given a general authority to deal with the assets under any of the provisions of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1933.”
All those having claims against the company are requested to forward particulars of such claims to the undersigned not later than the 17th day of October, 1941.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the ALBURY PUBLIC HALL COMPANY, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held at Albury on Thursday, the 25th day of September, 1941, the following special resolution was passed :—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that RUSSELL STANLEY GOODMAN, of Timaru, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

APPLICATION TO CHANGE THE INTAKE AND ALTER COURSE OF WATER-RACE.
In the Warden’s Court held at Roxburgh.
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 121 of the Mining Act, 1926, application has been made to the Warden at Roxburgh by DAVID ALEXANDER ANDREW and ROBERT GLENDINNING, both of Roxburgh, Fruitgrowers, for permission to change the intake and alter the course of water-race, License No. 628, dated 13th November, 1902, Roxburgh Registry, such new intake to be 120 ft. above the present intake and then running in an easterly direction through Section 25, Block II, Teviot District, for approximately 120 ft., and then joining with the present race and following the original course of the said race to its terminal point.
And such application will be heard in the Warden’s Court, Roxburgh, on the 21st October, 1941, at 2 p.m.
Objection must be filed in the Registrar’s Office and notified to applicant at least three days before the time so appointed.

MANAWATU BLUESTONE QUARRY, CO., LTD.
IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the Manawatu Bluestone Quarry Co., Ltd. (in liquidation), will be held at the registered office of the company, First Floor, South British Insurance Building, 326 Lambton Quay, Wellington, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon of Wednesday, the 29th day of October, 1941, for the purpose of enabling the liquidator to lay before such meeting an account showing the manner in which the winding up of the company has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and for the purpose of passing a resolution as to the disposal of the company’s books and records.
