Stopping Government Road in Block VII, Rangitoto Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road hereby stopped :—

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
1 0 3·1 Part Lot 2, D.P. 4936, being part Block V.
0 2 35 Part Lot 2, and Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 4936, being part Block V.
0 2 37 Parts Lot 2, and Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 4936, being part Block V.

Situated in Block VII, Rangitoto Survey District (Rangitikei R.D.). (S.O. 3192.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95984, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of October, 1941.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, Grey County, containing 99 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less, being Section 3144 and other Crown land (creeks), and situated in Block XV, Waiwhero Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 119/41, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of October, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 3923, Blocks III and VII, Halswell Survey District: Area, 16 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less.

Reserve 4069, Block III, Halswell Survey District: Area, 69 acres 2 roods 39 perches, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of October, 1941.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for harbour works.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 3·4 perches.

Being part of Old Land Claim No. 39.

Situated in Block XI, Kerikeri Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29505.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109219, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.
