Building, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 14th day of October, 1941, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator.

Members’ Voluntary Winding Up.
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 17th day of September, 1941, the following special resolution was duly passed:—
“ (a) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“ (b) That Mr. KENNETH HOWARD BAYLISS, of Hastings, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.
NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to take under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school the following land, namely: All those pieces of land containing together 12 acres 2 roods 39·6 perches, more or less, being Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, and 72 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 18021, being portion of Section 97 of Block VI, Patetere North Survey District.
A plan of the land is deposited at the post-office at Putaruru, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable times.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street, Auckland.

LAKE COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
In the matter of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and in the matter of a special loan of £600 authorized to be raised by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Lake for improvements to the Glendhu Domain.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in and conferred upon it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Lake County Council hereby this 23rd day of September, 1941, resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of six hundred pounds (£600), authorized to be raised by the Lake County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the erection of conveniences, shelter, and the installation of a water-supply at the Glendhu Domain in the County of Lake, the said Lake County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixtieth of a penny (½d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Lake calculated on the basis of the capital value thereof; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Carried; and we hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of such resolution as appearing in the minute-book of the Council of the County of Lake.

NOVA STEEL PRODUCTS, LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in the minute-book, in pursuance of section 300 (1) of the Companies Act, 1933, and dated the 24th day of September, 1941, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“ That, it having been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up, it is hereby resolved that the company be wound up, and that KENNETH BOLTON, of Wellington, Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.”
All persons or companies having claims against the company are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or before the 24th day of October, 1941, as otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.
