IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon the Price Tribunal by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939, and with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following Price Order :—

1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 57.

2. The maximum price at which Symington’s Essence of Coffee and Chicory may be sold by way of retail at any place in New Zealand where a wholesale general merchant is situated shall be not more than as follows :—

   For a 8½ oz. bottle, 2s.

3. At any other place in New Zealand there may be added to the price hereby fixed the actual or proportionate amount (calculated to the next highest halfpenny) of any extra freight incurred from the nearest wholesale general merchant’s store to place of sale.
