Declaring Portion of Road in Block II, Otanewainuku Survey District, to be Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of October, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be Government road: 3 roods 39 perches.

Adjoining or passing through part Allotments 131 and 133A, Te Papa Parish.

Situated in Block II, Otanewainuku Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 31318.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 111217, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Para Street, in the City of Wellington, of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 50 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of October, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Wellington City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said proposed street within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of such street: Provided, however, that in respect of Lots 2, 3, and 12 of the subdivision, as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 112115, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, this condition shall be thirty-five feet from the centre-line of such street.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 2 perches, more or less, being part Sections 8 and 10, Watts Peninsula District, and part Lot 1, D.P. 12148. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 112115, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The South-eastern Side of Portion of Maybank Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of October, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, viz.:

β€œThat the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south-eastern side of the portion of Maybank Street adjoining Lots 88, 90, 92, and 94, Township of Calton Extension, being part Section 50, Block IX, North Harbour and Blueskin District, such land being comprised and described in Certificates of Title, Register-book, Volume 205, folio 128, and Volume 205, folio 129;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side of the portion of Maybank Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Maybank Street, fronting Lots 88, 90, 92, and 94, Township of Calton Extension. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 111435, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1928, in the Borough of Mosgiel.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of September, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 16 perches.

Being part of Lot 4, Block IV, on Deposited Plan 471, Township of West Mosgiel, being all the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 119, folio 22, together with a right of way over part Lot 3, created by Transfer No. 24721, Otago Registry.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 112097, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the general election of Commissioners of the Clinton Town Board was required to be held on the seventeenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, but the steps prescribed by the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925, were not complied with:

And whereas it is desirable that the time for holding the general election aforesaid should be extended:
