CROWN LANDS NOTICE.
Land in Otago Land District for Selection on Optional Tenures.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Dunedin, 23rd September, 1941.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned property
is open for selection on optional tenures under the
Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the
District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, up to 4 o'clock p.m.
on Monday, 6th October, 1941.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at
the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, on Wednesday,
8th October, 1941, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant
is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land
Board or by an Commissioner of Crown Lands. Applicants
are required to produce documentary evidence of their
farming experience and financial position.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is
required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit
comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent,
lease fee, and weighting for improvements.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.
Clutha County.—Glenomaru Survey District.
SECTIONS 25, 28, 30, 33, 34, 35, and 36, Block II : Area,
92 acres 1 rood. Capital value, £25. Deposit on deferred
payments, £5 : Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments
(term: ten years), £1 6s. 4d. Renewable lease : Half-
yearly rent, 10s.

Weighted with £15 (payable in cash) for improvements,
comprising partly demolished shed and fencing.

The land is situated about three miles from Glenomaru
Post-office, School, and Railway-station on a clay road about
one mile from Balclutha-Owaka Highway. About 4 acres
good pasture, 18 acres in worn-out pasture, 10 acres felled
and grassed but grass eaten out, the balance (60 acres) being
in natural state. The area, which is hilly and broken, is
suitable for working with adjoining land.

purchase of the undermentioned milling-timber will
close at the office of the State Forest Service, Hokitika, at
4 p.m. on Friday, 10th October, 1941.

WESTLAND CONSERVANCY.—WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL the milling-timber on that piece of land containing 152
acres, situated in Block XV, Mawhera-nui Survey District,
State Forest No. 33, approximately eight miles from Kotuku
Railway-station.
