Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for Defence Purposes in Blocks VI and X, Waitemata Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37 of the twenty-sixth day of the same month, at page 1183, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 9642, taking land for defence purposes in Blocks VI and X, Waitemata Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of September, 1941.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block IV, Tangihua Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a portion of the North Auckland Railway (branch line to Whangarei) and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 23·2 perches.
Being portion of Railway land in Proclamation 6438.
Situated in Block IV, Tangihua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29311.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98502, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of September, 1941.
