The National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Notice under Regulation 19 requiring Men, who have been called up for Service with the Armed Forces, to report.

I, ALBERT EDWARD CONWAY, Adjutant-General, New Zealand Military Forces, and an authorized officer for the purposes of the above-mentioned regulations, do hereby give notice pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 19 of the said regulations, that the men whose names, addresses, and descriptions are given in the Schedule attached (being men who have been called up in accordance with the said regulations for service with the Armed Forces) are required to report at the respective times and places shown in the said Schedule.

Dated at Wellington, this 3rd day of September, 1941.

Notice calling up Reservists for Service Overseas with the Armed Forces.

Wellington, 4th September, 1941.

I T is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have this day issued to—
Richard Lee, Painter, 5 Scotia Place, Auckland, Registration No. 459261,
David Naismith Spraggon, Fisherman, 14 Kentucky Street, Ellerslie, Auckland, Registration No. 450024,
Maurice Wilfred Wilkins, Farm Hand, Elizabeth Street, Matamata, Registration No. 456749,
Francis Herbert Lamb, Gardener, 137 Shakespeare Road, Napier, Registration No. 459002, and
Roy Ernest Bruning, Farm Hand, Rural Mail Delivery, Hamama, Takaka, Registration No. 452170,
notices calling them up for service overseas with the Armed Forces as being reservists of Class A of the First Division of the General Reserve, such persons having been severally convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a class of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

Declaration of Result of Election of Producers' Representatives on the Hop Marketing Committee.

I, KENNETH ALBERT BIGGS, Returning Officer for the purposes of the election of five (5) producers’ representatives for appointment to the Hop Marketing Committee established by the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, made under the Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, do hereby declare the result of the election on the poll which closed at Wellington at noon on the 27th day of August, 1941, to be as follows:—
