AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
North Shore Boroughs (Auckland) Water-supply Loan, 1941.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £125,000, authorized to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Act for providing funds for the purpose of extending the waterworks undertaking of the Auckland City Corporation to enable it to supply water to the Boroughs of Devonport, Northcote, and Takapuna, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-tenths of a penny (37d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property comprising the whole of the City of Auckland ; and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until such loan is fully paid off.”
Certified to be a true and correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 21st day of August, 1941.

CANTERBURY TRANSPORT, LIMITED.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of CANTERBURY TRANSPORT, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of Canterbury Transport, Limited, will be held on the 26th day of August, 1941, at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed; and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, the 4th day of September, 1941, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

THE WANGANUI CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY, LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE WANGANUI Co-OPERATIVE SOCIETY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special general meeting of the above society, duly convened and held on the 21st day of August, 1941, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:
“ That the society cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind-up, and that the society be wound up voluntarily.”

Members' Voluntary Winding Up.
The Companies Act, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that by a special resolution duly passed on the 23rd day of August, 1941, it was resolved that the above company having ceased to carry on business be wound up voluntarily, and that AMBROSE REEVES HARRIS, of Christchurch, Company-manager, was appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.

IN LIQUIDATION.
Creditors' Voluntary Winding Up.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of MIDWEST IMPORT DISTRIBUTORS, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 241 of the Companies Act, 1933, that the final general meeting of the above company and of the creditors thereof will be held at the registered office of the company, 308 T. and G. Building, Wellesley Street West, Auckland C. 1, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 15th day of September, 1941, for the purpose of receiving the liquidator's account of the winding up.

Ordinary Weekly Gazette : For the first 32 pages, 9d. increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or part thereof; postage, ld.
Supplementary and Extraordinary Gazettes : For the first 8 pages, 6d. ; over 8 pages and not exceeding 32 pages, 9d. ; increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or part thereof; postage, ld.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS.
UNDER the Regulations Act, 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription 30s. per annum in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 25s.
(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, 42s. per annum in advance.
(4) Separate regulations as issued.
(5) Loose-leaf binder for filing serial issues, 6s. 6d.; postage free.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.
Orders on the subscription basis should be placed now with the Government Printer, Wellington, or at the Chief Post-offices at Auckland, Christchurch, or Dunedin.
