Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect of applications for licenses were made on 4th August, 1941.

Taking of Fish for Sale.
AN application has been received from H. W. Henderson, Jetty Street, Riverton, for a license to take fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel “Pipiroa,” using long-lines, hand-lines, and crayfish pots, catches to be landed at Riverton.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 28th August, 1941.

AN application has been received from W. Cowell, Kawhia, for a license to take fish for sale by means of a 15 ft. row-boat, using drag-nets and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Kawhia.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 28th August, 1941.

AN application has been received from D. Mills, 3 Tamar Street, Oamaru, for a license to take fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel “Waitaki,” DN. 387, using long-lines and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Moeraki and Oamaru.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 28th August, 1941.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
AN application has been received from New Zealand Indentors, Ltd., corner Fanshawe and Federal Streets, Auckland, for a license to commence to carry on the above industry to the extent of manufacturing infants’ and toddlers’ shoes, sizes 0–9, by the machine-sewn method.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 28th August, 1941.
