Land taken for a Quarry and an Easement over Land taken for
the Purposes of a Right-of-way in Block XII, Hukerenui
Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, as amended
by section sixty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1939,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the First Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for a quarry, and I do also declare
that an easement is hereby taken over the land described
in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the
King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in
perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the
right for His Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from
time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass
with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the
said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said
right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the land
described in the First Schedule hereto, and that such right-of-
way shall be appurtenant to the land described in the said
First Schedule; and I do further declare that this Proclama-
tion shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of August,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—

SECOND SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an ease-
ment is taken: 2 roods 35 perches.
Being part Puhipuhi No. 5B No. 6 Block; coloured red,
edged red.
All situated in Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District
(Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32139.)
All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
111566, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above
mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
August, 1941.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Crown Land in Nelson Land
District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special
Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged
Soldiers Settlement Amendment Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on
the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-six, and published in the Gazette of the first
day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six,
page 1827, setting apart land for disposal by way of sale or
lease to discharged soldiers under special tenures in the
manner provided by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.
SECTION I, Block VIII, D’Urville Survey District: Area,
577 acres 2 roods 20 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of
July, 1941.

Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers
under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open
for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers
under special tenures in the manner provided in the said Act.
