Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
AN application has been received from B. W. Wells, Havelock, for an extension of his existing license covering the taking of fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel “Wakanui,” NN. 815, using set-nets, drag-nets, long-lines, and hand-lines, catches being landed at Nelson and Havelock, so as to permit the use of trawl-nets.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 31st July, 1941.

Notice calling up Reservists for Service Overseas with the Armed Forces.
National Service Department,

IT is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have this day issued to—
William John McAlister, Farm Hand, Victoria Street, Pukekohe, Registration No. 450010,
Frank Earl Purcell, Farm Hand, care of D. Potter, Puni, Pukekohe, Registration No. 450009, and
Harold Adolph Lamberg, Farmer, Waihou Valley, Okaihau, Registration No. 456632,
notices calling them up for service overseas with the armed Forces as being reservists of Class A of the First Division of the General Reserve, such persons having been severally convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a class of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.
