Oil Fuel Retail Hours (Wellington) Order, No. 2, 1940,
Amendment No. 1.

PURSUANT to the Oil Fuel Retail Hours Emergency Regulations (No. 2) 1940, and pursuant to the powers in that behalf therein contained, I, Patrick Charles Webb, Minister of Labour, do hereby direct as follows:—

  1. This Order may be cited as the Oil Fuel Retail Hours (Wellington) Order, No. 2, 1940, Amendment No. 1.

  2. This Order shall come into force on the date of the publication thereof in the Gazette.

  3. The Oil Fuel Retail Hours (Wellington) Order, No. 2, 1940, is hereby amended by deleting from clause 7 thereof the name of A. E. Newrick and substituting therefor the name of E. W. Jepson.

Abridged description: Front beacon, F., 50 ft.; vis. 12 M. (U). Rear beacon, F., 100 ft.; vis. 15 M. (U).
Details: The leading beacon lights have been altered from occulting every 10 and 20 seconds respectively to fixed.

No. 727.—Pacific Islands (south-western group), Savu Savu Bay. Large corrections, 9/8/1940; beacons amended; chart graduated, minor corrections throughout.

No. 1970.—New Zealand: Auckland Harbour. Large corrections, 7/3/41; amendments to depths, wharves, and topography between St. Mary Bay and Judge Bay and at Calliope Dock. Plan, Auckland Wharves, erased.

Supplement No. 6, relating to Pacific Island Pilot, Volume 1, has been published, and copies may be obtained at mercantile marine offices at the main ports by persons who have purchased the volumes in New Zealand.
